React, designed with functional components, is currently the hottest library for crafting UI. As React thrived, recent years have witnessed the rise of functional programming in commercial Web development. And then, having eyes on functional paradigm, we notice a rising start: PureScript. In this talk, the speaker will start from reviewing the concept of React, then go through the evolution of the ecosystem, and illustrate PureScript, describe the relationship between React and PureScript, and share about how we can benefit from learning PureScript.
